Business and Workplace Preparedness

Workplace Preparedness
Could your business go on if your workforce was gone? During a severe pandemic an estimated 40 percent of your coworkers may be absent due to illness, fear, or having to care for their families.

This information will help teach you how to enhance business continuity through the implementation of the Three P’s in your workplace.

Plan
Let your COOP be your guide! Learn the essential elements of a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) for your workplace.

Prepare
Get it together! Learn what types of preventative measures can be implemented in your workplace, such as sanitizers, hand wipes, personal protective equipment (PPE). Get information regarding what items to stockpile in preparation for an influenza pandemic to complement your plan.

Protect
Act now! Although some of our best defenses against the consequences of an influenza pandemic are to plan and prepare, we need to practice behaviors that will reduce the spread of the virus. Staying home if sick, proper hand washing, and social distancing are just a few of the ways you can help prevent the spread of disease.
